It has happened to me in the past that they scratch the reserve runner after it gets in and then you get a deduction

After a successful Summer Cup yesterday, looking to build on a descent Pick 6 payout, sure many of us caught it with relative ease. Congrats to all connections of Master Sabina.

Now that I've turned a corner (hopefully) i've decided to give London Call and Future Fantastic a good go, I recall London Call beating Kochka recently which IMO was ultra impressive, he was punted that day from 10/1 into 9/2. Today the same will happen, I suggest you take the 6/1 on offer as it's still a steal, Ice Machine WILL not beat this horse!

Future Fantastic going an extra furlong but IMO will have more to come over the extra ground, I believe a patient ride will be key but no doubt he will be right there at the 100m.

Good luck to all today!

If London Call beats Ice Machine, then the merit rating system needs a serious re-think, a-la the Ruby Ruby/Melliflora result the other day.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I always worry about backing any horse that has 4 negative behavioral comments from only 5 runs and whose total runs equal his age - talented sure - unsound yes - difficult certainly

It's always needed a serious re-think...

Everyone said the same when FFC beat IM.

@ Mr H. There are soundness issues, it's pretty obvious... But despite these issues he's managed to pull off 3 wins in only 5 runs. I say no more, let the horses do the talking on course today.
