GAUTENG is a puzzling horse. Looked the type that would easily win a Maiden and then train on. That last run, when ridden by Marcus, could hold the key. She found herself handy and just over a length to find at the final 400m. She found nothing and faded. Her best runs occur when she is ridden no good. If she has 6 or more lengths to make up over the final 400m you get a heart-stopping finish from her, less than that and she fades. Not the kind of horse to rely on but on a difficult card she might be an in or out banker in the Bipot and Pa.
Warren Kennedy has made two trips to PE this year and both have produced success. Include all his rides, regardless of price, in your perms.

I do like Count Zafonic today(I wish the blinkers were off though) - He has most to fear from stable-mate Sky Full Of Stars who looks like 2400m will suite. I think Oscar will get good runs from both his runners today.
In Rem was rated 74 last year August and after a string of poor runs is now a 50. There is plenty of room for multiple wins off that mark and his first effort in PE was sparkling - I would have prefered a 1200m but he is a must for all bets even over the minimum trip. Tiger Tim was all the rage last time and ran in snatches. Has a draw and is worth an E/W

Am i mad for tipping against Clifton Surf? just feel Firth Of Clyde could be improving and i like that draw this trip at Fairview ( worth a few lengths imo )

Honeydrew that runs today was scratched on Friday with an injury ( sure it said something sore on gallop.co.za ? )

Surely this horse must be scratched today, to protect the punter and the wellbeing of the horse?
