....

.....which one....we only had 3 of them in the past 10 days.....does the 2nd one count as he was only a finance minister for less than a week.....see from his bio he knows nothing about finances.....well sanity prevails ....the real power must have reigned Zuma in and help put thing right.... even briefly....FFS no one can even take a break and leave this idiot to his own devices..... worse than baby sitting a delinquent chimpanzee....Oops cannot refer these people as lesser primates.....it's classified as being racist.... :S

Anyone with any of this info even slightly before the event could have made a packet in a few days on the movement of the Rand...first by shorting last week and now by taking a long position...would be +10-12% up if done correctly... :( :(

Gordham an improvement ..........................but convincing Trevor Manuel to take over again would have been the real win!

Neither good in my humble opinion...get some-one with academic qualification (not honorary but earned and Masters and higher) in finance and / or economics backed by experience in government and / or business...must be some-one within the ANC upper echelons who meet these critieria ??!!

......wonder if Van Rooyen will have the Finance Minister blazed into his CV.....

.....if he included every position he has had since he left school.....and printed it for a job in Civvy street....shares in Mondi and Sappi would double.....

A lot of people have lost a lot of money because of this move. Some may be able to afford but others will struggle to correct the losses in the short term.

This is probably a deathknell to LONMIN/EDCON and a few other big companies based in SA.

If any changes are made to the SAA, ESKOM-NUCLEAR Deals, or the VIP Jet for ZUMA. Gordham will loose credibility and back we go again to the big slide to Banana Republic status.

Short term we will see petrol climb by 2 to 5 rand over the next 4 months.
Ineterest rates will climb by 3% points by June 2016 all because we have a charlie in charge.

2016 local elections will be harsh EFF/ANC/DA are gonna say a lot of stupid things in the run up that will make investors more nervous. if any problems with IEC we are fcked.
