RACE 2 ULTIMATE SURVIVAL
RACE 3 BAD BOY BUDDY BOY
RACE 4 EL BOMBERO
RACE 5 EINA
RACE 6 ONE YESTERDAY
RACE 7 WEDGWOOD
RACE 8 HIS LEGACY
RACE 1 GOLDEN MAN

RACE 3 BAD BOY BUDDY BOY
RACE 4 EL BOMBERO
RACE 5 EINA
RACE 6 ONE YESTERDAY

Jin-go-bo-la could show the strength of the Wedgwood form in the second race.
Also a SS fan, that run to lazer star was class.

I think Christmas Carol is the better of the two woody horses. Beaten on debut by a horse that is 2 for 2 then wins next start. Wedgewood took longer to win her Maiden

Bob
I also like El Bombero but I give that more of an each way chance.
My preference for the win in that race would be Bankable Teddy.

Red Special was rated MR61 when finishing third to His Legacy (MR 69 after that debut win), and after winning his next start Red Special is rated MR72. Hoping His Legacy has made the natural improvement and proves better than rated.
Bayern
These MR72 is always a bummer to predict. My first choice would be Hawaiian Sun

Deeno, i love young Lyle but i think he was too confident on EL BOMBERO last time, hosre probably should have gone close to winning... Nearly my best bet of the day

9 years 5 months agoIn that race SCARE TACTICS is my 4 place horse - This guy went loon in the ring last as Strydom was in the boardroom for an objection and he ringed for ages. He's drawn bush which might actually aid him as he likes to run on. Not sure about blinkers though but has 100% c/d record.Bob Brogan wrote: Deeno, i love young Lyle but i think he was too confident on EL BOMBERO last time, hosre probably should have gone close to winning... Concur on Scare Tactics Mr H.
I also like a little of Lady On Fire at the prices in the 6th. Over this d I generally much prefer the higher draws, though it doesn't always work that way, and most of the more fancied ones are drawn pretty low or as low as you can get. Lto might have been too far for LOF and the three prior to that over 1000 were respectable efforts and running on, two from possibly unfavourable draws. At 16/1 I think worth a nibble. Also won her only effort on softer going which may prove to be a benefit should rain arrive. If the trip is not too sharp, Wet Autumn Mist could also feature.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this is a tough card. But look at the bright side - this means there should be some nice value on offer. For me 3 stand out at the odds:
In the 3rd, I think Tiger Territory will go close; should really have won his penultimate when his 'jockey' found all the trouble in a 7 horse field - I'm ignoring his last effort over 1160 and he is my pick to run down Badboy in the last 50 to win going away
Laurel Cherry imo has lots of scope - has to improve on her maiden win to beat the older Eina and Matsuri, but with the stable having a few winners recently and Marwing riding at the top of his game, I think she is the value here; however I will include both the older fillies in exotics - and I like Luala to make quartets pay.
Then in the 8th, if Ruby Ruby's last win was not a flash in the pan, she will win again - ran to 72 last time imo, so very well in here at the weights and also quite generously priced imo
Enjoy
