Love the card today and big value to be found:
Race 1) Mad Pushpa - took some 7/1 and 13/10 on interbet earlier.
Race 2) Live on The Moon - Very decent E/W bet at 5/1
Race 4) Redcarpet Captain - Win (Should be 1/3)
Race 5) Great Rumpus - Win
Race
Off Ramp - Win

Not one Redcarpet Captain fan so far, you guys obviously know something I don't, please share what you heard. Or is even money too short, share nonetheless
Quite honestly I think this horse only needs to be be pointed in the right direction today.

Perhaps one of the dullest cards I have seen in my life IMO and extremely difficult for punters to make money off with only odds on favorites in every race in my opinion and perhaps the only strategy that will work today is the Martingale system given so many favorites with little value, and most of those favorites ending up top of the ratings.
So enjoy your day of reconciliation in South Africa today and don't get too excited on this card, it's one of those where you are bound to see odds on favorites getting rolled and everyone surprised afterwards why they did not make money and yet so many favorites arrived... the answer is simply "There is no CONSISTENT value"

Ok, Ok, you convinced me... Redcarpet Captain x Off Ramp double ...6/1.
I was going to go Silence Descends (fplace) x Off Ramp ...7/1 ....will take this one depending how the days starts

Being Greyville I have not exactly studied but a couple of thoughts as I perused...
R2 Would rather be taking e/ws with Live On The Moon (decent draw, fair comeback run following a year out and not too much between him and Stokvel on a line through Samovar/Winter Auralious) and the consistent Jullidar than backing the two market leaders
R3 Forgive the last run and Jolo looks a fair e/w price at around 8/1, on the penultimate run she was only 1l behind Quientalla. The fav, Ostenation, was 0.3l behind Quientella lto. If my maths regarding the weights is correct, Jolo now has a 5.5kgs swing for 0.7l. Jolo was well behind Ostentation lto but worth noting Jolo goes from box 11 to box 1.
Looked even less closely at the turf given the assumption that the jockeys have been told to try and glide over the surface rather than spoil the lovely grass and I have even less idea about how horse's glide as I do about how they run!
But, a couple of "notes" I made on some bigger priced ones, I don't particularly "fancy" them but will nibble for interest...
R7 Thaler Point has another poor draw but will appreciate the step up in distance and some of her CT form over this d would give her a shout imo. Lady Cougar seems to love the c, not done much elsewhere but in 3 c runs, over 1200, 1400 and 1600 she has a gold and two bronze at odds of 40s, 50s and 75s. With the blinkers removed she won over c/d lto. Proverb is another with good c form, with a win and two silvers in her 3 c runs, including two over c/d. She has a good draw in 2 and having done all her recent campaigning on the poly, may appreciate a return to the turf with a low weight.
R8 Noriki is not well drawn but has 2 places from 3 c runs and may appreciate being back on the turf, the drop in trip, without the blinkers, low weight. Also got R1 out of my pocket for Roy's Gold.
As I say, not strong fancies, more "caught my eye" jobs and no surprise if a total flunk.
Be(s)t of luck to all

If there is a term called Triple Dutching, then that's what I have done into race 6 :-
Redcarpet Captain X Run Rhino Run
X Baltic Amber
X Celtic Captain
Baltic and Celtic were both 33/10 when I took the bets, so I'm hoping Redcarpet Captain wins and anyone of the above. Believe it or not if one bet clicks, I still stand to win a decent profit.
If Redcarpet Captain doesn't arrive, then there will be tears before bedtime
