So after all the problems we had in Gauteng GC learn't NOTHING. I still do not understand why it is NOT MANDATORY , rain or shine, for a panel that includes Jocks and Trainers to inspect the course before 9am and make a decision to race or not. I can promise you that if there was NO FOREIGN RACING to bet on ALL COURSES WOULD BE PERFECT!!!

Bear in mind ,there were 2 scheduled meetings (1 abandoned) with races down the straight only, and that was because there were issues with the turn.
In view of this ,you might have thought that they would have been very careful before returning to racing on it!
Instead there was suddenly a jockey protest which surely could have been avoided with Mr H's suggestion..........................basic management!

What a disappointment. I was anticipating my biggest payday for a long time. Smallest payout was R142k...Highest was R983k..... I only had 5%.... But 5% of R980K is pretty damn decent for a small punter...

Racing abandoned. Grrrrrrr.

I been following racing since the late 60's..... I cannot remember such crap with Turf tracks ever. Abandoned races because of waterlogged tracks occassionaly...... But UNSAFE??? WTF?? After AD congratulated the track manager earlier on a track running well??
