This horse will be back in a big way. With a handy MR of 104 watch this space as it appears the trainer knows the potential of this horse.

Once again the wretched MR system curtails the progression of top horses, this horse was hit with a MR of 112 for winning the GR 2 Dingaans worth a paltry R 5OO,OOO---. He was rated 86 prior to slamming that field by 4lengths.

mikesack I know the handicapers are responsible for poverty in the sudan and global warming but surely they aren't responsible for the paltry 500k stake cheque for the dingaans or should horses be penalised for stakes earned and not who they compete against? as for the owner surely its a bit selfish to cancel the authority to act and therefore every other owner that has shares with him suffers ?if he feels the horse is worth 6 bar then maybe he should buy out the balance for 6bar and move the horse to the trainer of his choice..

Or perhaps the horse he beat Harry's Son did not run to his MR of 114. Harry's Son beat a horse Jayyed by a neck in the Premiers Champion Stakes.Jayyed is still a novice who was one time highset rated maiden with 109 in the country.

.....this horse dispite his problems.....has already achieved what many owners would give their left ball for.....had he not been riddled with these problems could be worth bigger money....the agrieved owner is the one with limited racing knowlege and should take his R100K and walk away....

If I am reading it correctly ,an owner with 10% can prevent a horse from racing until the partnership is dissolved by withdrawing the authority to act.
That seems a ludicrous situation and surely partnerships therefore need to be treated in the rules as a single entity(as with a syndicate),with the % shareholding determining the respective rights and interests, so that the majority can still determine its activity!

people must understand that the owner is the boss he pays the bills and at the end of the day the trainer works for his owners so if he wants to move his horse he can
