R1 Spider Woman e/w and wary of debutant Gina Ballerina whose only full brother was fairly useful (Mannequin). Now You see Her also respected but with a high draw, I'm happy to go with SW who has the low draw and experience.
R2 Dream Lover nutter e/w. From memory only Watabout of the more fancied ones is drawn low and that could prove decisive but I am not entirely convinced so decided to choose another with a low draw at a big price for a nutter and the pin fell on DL. Blinkers seemed to sharpen him up lto and he was right there with 200 to go so a chance the drop in trip will suit. Debutant All Together has the worst possible draw but full brother (Belong To me) has won a Grade 3 and despite the draw will also be nibbled.
R3 Il Duce is not drawn well but had excuses in last two and in a field where I struggled to have even a small liking for anything, ID's price is somewhat appealing for a little e/w if recapturing some of his earlier form.
R4 Lock Him Up. Will monitor Pacific G's price for a potential nibble.
R5 Song Of Happiness
R6 Sweet Habanero. Kings V respected at this c but trainer thinks he might need it. 50c e/w on both Soft Sand and Burlesque
R7 Lavish Gal, quite strong on her chances from a good draw but c record is poor. Two idiots for me... most interested in Miss Tweedy who might recapture her pre-rest form now she has a decent draw, Inkolo will also have a couple of rand thrown in her direction.
R8 Viking Hero in a race where a pin may just do just as well as study!
R9 Heywot, quite strong on his chances. Canadian Mountie might prove the biggest danger.
Be(s)t of luck to all

Lock Him Up is reasonably well in on official ratings and he ran to a 79 last time in my book so is 5.5 Kgs well in with the fav............I make The Big Easy the only danger!

that was me a bit annoyed bout lucky saying the horse will be green and it not stable money like 2 mins before the off. then "i don't know where all th emoney came from".
Annoyed at the lack of transparency in south african betting.
But yeah won my money back and then some on what about. First time I think i've seen Julie tip a winner lol :woohoo:
so many tempting favourites today sheesh. I think I like Hermosa and AfricanRuler most though.
