Correct Bob. Huge gap between the older, top boys and the youngsters.
Yet another factor to consider in terms of "funny" results...

I like a jockey who can look after my horse and Aldo Domeyer is one of the best in getting results and doing that. Hardly requires to use a whip. Got it from his old man.

Pierre Strydom though can get on a horse and run 100m and get a feel of that horse immediately. That is a master for me.

I think AD will get better rides and make more money by freelancing....he's also free to pursue the championship now.

Remember how a few years back Delpech was in the running for the jockey's title and Marcus was given the plum rides by de Kock that enabled him to beat Delpech to the title...even though Delpech was supposed stable jockey ?? !!

Few comical comments, he had the best of both worlds at mdk, the best bred horses in the country to ride and was never forced to travel all over the country to keep the rides .

Unless he has a big job with another stable he will probably end up farting around in Kzn riding poorer quality horses
