Clever man Azzie.Puts small money on Bateleur Again so the bookies shorten it from 10-1 to 7-2 thinking that's the right one from the stable then Shatoosh drifts to 16-1 and they lump on it and starts at 6-1 and wins.

Trip to India has to be a top 3 runner here if not giving away too much start. Hope she can win it but place the way to go!

The support for Aldiara is understandable as ran to 12 points higher than todays rating, last time out!
However ,Banking April ran to 5 points higher than todays rating last time out and together with the 7point appie allowance,is also 12 points "well off" ..............and is 14/1.........include in bets!

Rob, in the not so old days I am 99% certain that the graphs did not differentiate between the two courses hence they levelled each other out. My perception on the graphs has recently changed a little though so maybe it is different now. I say that because I am pretty sure they never used to take account of the number of runners either so low always seemed favoured, that is not the case now. Maybe Dev can give clarification.

Personally, I do think there is a big bias on occasion but certainly not for every meeting. If I have two horses fairly closely matched, I would always go for the one drawn high on the outer and low on the inside, should they be drawn on different sides. I would say though that when I look back at past results on formgrids, it is often unclear as to which track they were on simply based on draw and placings.

I have noticed that in some meetings ,finishing on the outside is an advantage but getting good position on the outside seems to be easier from the middle inside,so I assume the going is better on the outside only in the latter stages!..........not that 2 meetings are the same
