If it is on phum/gc property then send them back home and get their house in order first.

That boxes will be filled in notime by others not from ctn on waiting list.

kannemeyr had more runners , winners and stakes earned in natal this season than cpt.
why must they be sent back?they are paying for their stables and have trainers licenses that enable them to train countrywide ..they are successful at what they do why must they be punished for that or must we become a socialist or communistic society ..ts im not going to argue with you lets leave it there but if gold circle had its way they would welcome more satellite yards as it helps to have more horses here to fill up there fields ..tonite we have just 7 races in fact it could have been 6 if not for certain trainers accepting afterclosing time to keep the first race alive..

just one more point if this was Australia or England and you had between 5 to 7 racecourses within a radius of 100km of each other this provincialism issue wouldn't be around but because of the demographics of this country where racecourses are so far from one another which means trainers like snaith and kanemeyer have to open satellite yards because of the travelling..i have raced in oz a few times and in queensland you will have gold coast, sunshine coast ,Ipswich eaglefarm and doomben within a 100km radius unlike cape town to jhb or capetown to Durban or pe...

Pirates, there are 7 races tonight because it is on the POLY...... have a look at the noms for grass racing and then the scratchings when the meeting is moved to POLY. I will not allow any of my babies to be run on POLY.

I am not promoting provincialism or a protectest monopoly but if left in the hands of CPT trainers that region IS going to sink.

I too will no longer argue, my simple suggestion is change the WC to a 3 meeting a month center with decent fields, quite simple really.

Not correct.

There are 7 races because that is what was programmed. And Wednesday 2 March is all Poly where 8 races were programmed but there are now 9 on the day.

Sorry dilli, my point was only that if more grass racing was offered in KZN there would be bigger fields....

Tigershark I am not here looking for an argument but 2/3 times now the trainers have been asked if they wanted to swop certain races from the poly to the grass and the majority have voted to stay on the grass which I found interesting.

This debate about WC racing is easily resolved .............remove all subsidy and force them to paddle their own canoe...............................let them stand or fall on their own performance!
If they make it ,they make it!
