I know Trophy Wife is all the class in that race however it has prep run written all over. Not saying it will not win I am just wary of punting a opened 7/20 now can get 6/10.

Race 1- I like Piper Arrow

For what it's worth I think Dakiwe looks the one to beat in race 6. 62kg from a bad draw on the inside track LTO was too much to ask. At this stage I think 3 year old Danza will need more than 1kg to beat him. 11/10 Top 3 Dakiwe looks a safer bet versus 2/1 Danza win

Yankee Captain scratched 35% deduction :(

R1 Spanish Blade e/w has been unlucky in the last couple especially in its penultimate when I thought fell victim to a poor ride.

R2 Not getting involved due to the lack of value.

R3 William Nicol the obvious one hoping he Frank's the form for a horse on Thursday. However at the prices will take some places on in the moment instead.

R4 Fortissima decent claims, however will take an e/w on the Nieuwenhuizen horse with the appie taking some weight off.

R5 Favorite concerns me with the draw and another I'm not going to get too heavily involved with. Grand classic makes appeal however il chance rain Shaddow at the prices. Drop in trip probably didn't suit lto and can improve back over what I feel is his best trip.

R6 A lot of chat for Danza here, I am inclined to lean towards Hyaku. Merit rating dropping nicely and should be back near peak fitness again.

R7 Won't oppose High Drama.

R8 Anything can happen here. Was impressed in the way Stebbins got the job done but may struggle to concede weight to the likes of Nawab, Zillionaire and Lord Windsor. All of these must be included.

R9 Agree with many that Nugget counter appears to be the right one and some value is to be had at the moment, for how long though I don't know. I've been following this guy for a little while and gives the impression by his debut win that the track suits.

All the best for today.
