hope the first 3 favourites are fit and well... the few punters that were in the tab today i spoke to are bankering them in bipot and generally seem to think they stand a good chance. but again, your average tote punter takes the fact the horse will be fit and wel on good faith.

Will try to post other selections up in a bit (if interested lol) but, best e/w value for me today potentially could be with Jack Friday in the 6th. Stable has hit form and forgive lto when returning from a rest then double figures looks generous to me. Three runs back beat Quids In with a little to spare, is now 6.5kgs better off and has the 1 box. Other form prior to lto also looks to give him a decent claim. Could just be off form but if the rest was the reason for lto's poor showing then every right to be right there imo

Most traded on IB for race 1 is 6 at this stage, stable companion to Bulle Bakkies.

This could be interesting if there is follow through.

It could just be a cheap manipulation to get a better price the fav tho, which is trading 65c from 45c earlier.

Let's wait and see.

R2 Caribbean Bay has been off form for a while now but on 2nd run after a lengthy break, I think worth risking a rand or two e/w in the hope she has a form return, will be competitive imo if she does so
R4 Pretty open obviously, my hunch is Sidecar with the two Lensley runners thereabouts.
R5 Pretty open obviously, my hope is that Kalani takes to the surface. Rhythm In Red and Morrie respected. Had a rand e/w on Heaven On Earth, just got a big nag from somewhere on it lol, had excuses in only sand run at the Vaal and could be better on the surface than that run reflects, not hurt if tailed off!
R6 Competitive but as mentioned earlier, I'm with JF e/w
R7 Pretty open obviously, I'll have a small go on Kingofmountain in the hope he can follow up a fair effort lto. Plenty others have decent claims including the couple of Human runners, at double figure prices I'll be watching Told You So and having R1 e/w on Rock Country, if Steph is to have a birthday present, I think this is the most likely to give it to her.
R8 Pretty open obviously, I quite like the e/w chances of the relatively consistent Cape Grey here. Will though be watching out for stablemate Swizzle Stick at big odds. The Arabian another at the prices that interests me a little.
R9 Pretty open obviously, I'll be hoping Dragoon takes to the surface. If not, though well beaten by the selection on the turf, The Badge might surprise at decent odds, only sand run (Vaal) saw him win his maiden.

Impossible (for me anyway!) to have much confidence in anything but could be competitive racing and worth having "interest" bets. Think and hope the Human yard could have another good day.

Be(s)t of luck to all

Missed the 55's, but after Lensley interview, he mentioned he is hoping JP can go one better in the 3rd (has had 2 x 2nd's)... Had a little stab at very decent odds... Money has come in for it...
