Thanks Dave.
Pirates I have been allocated 10 stables at Ashburton for the Season. However I will have to act on it this week. During the CT Season with me trying to be there and here, it just never worked out. The main reason is that I am limited when it comes to working out , in advance, what work my horses must do. I work them off the eye and have to have the horse in front of me when I decide how much to do etc. So, I may opt to raid. Our float is up and running and by all accounts, the new ultra smooth auto gearbox of the Isuzu is aiding horses in terms of travelling very well. This weekend's 8 horses that came down on thursday and returned last night, produced 2 wins, 1 second, 2 thirds and a fourth...Tony Nassif and us.
Only Bah (colic after race, still lying down in stable right now) and Jade Bay never earned.
So this will probably be the way to go for us. We will be back at Scottsville on Sunday.

The blinkers on Trip Tease will remain. He just loves to stargaze lately and has been playing at home, going through the motions at work.
Look, this horse is an incredibly intelligent horse. What this horse has done and continues to do is a book on its own. He is just bored at home and come raceday he may have stared at the grandstand overhang at the finish during the race. He is extremely inquisitive.Due to float times from Ashburton to Scottsville we knew that we could not show him the course before the race. So we went with blinkers.
He is difficult in the stalls. He was much better with the Blinkers on, so we will leave them on next time. We now have to go to Kimberley on 11th to get his final prep on for the Computaform.

now that he has seen the track the big sprint over 1200m a possibility or the thought of carrying top weight in a hcap over 1200m not part of your planning?perhaps mercury sprint at wfa a better plan ..pity this aint run at pmb up the straight

Spot on Pirates. If he settles, chance in Golden Horse. But, has done the Turffontein Inside before, so a good draw in Mercury might be on the cards. ...
