Ran about 2000m in the classic, imagine if the horse ran in a straight line :pinch:

Would love go pro's to become compulsory on a jockeys helmet, not just from a spectator point of view but could be used for objections and looking into poor rides amongst other things.

.....don't really want to jinx this one .....so not looking for spooks just yet.....closer to the day will check on the conditions and final runners and see if anything can upset.....I hope not though.....this horse deserves the crown....

9 years 4 months ago......this was my spook in the classic not to win it....PeeKay wrote: What did Samurai Blade run to there? On that run....must be included for places in the Derby
but got swingers with the winner/banker....the way he finished he looks to want more ground
......no sure if he peaked on this run or Tarry can get a little more out of him in the Derby...
wont be fair for a one time winner to spoil Abashiri's bid for the crown...on the other hand with Abashiri missing work leading up to the Classic....Azzie has plenty more to work with
and more improvement to come.....

Well done to the connections and he fought all the way to the line - lots of guts for sure.
But after the hype, lets just get back to the facts, he did beat Rocketball (MR 100) a shd - and it would have been a different story 10 yards further .....also Brazuca received 5.5 kg's from Legal Eagle and got beat easily, so IF Abashiri goes for the July, what weight will he have to carry against his elders......
Tough to win a Triple Crown, and he did it, and he is surely a good horse, but is he a 117 .....I doubt it
