Not always nice being beaten by a strong favourite, just have to keep reminding oneself that backing favourites is the surest way to the poorhouse. with around 26% strike rate outside the maidens, and 40% amongst the maidens, there is just no way to profit from that in the long run. Have to sit and wait patiently to capitalize in a hiccup amongst the form.

Just a Reminder seems justified at this spot, making the race unplayable. I would be looking for a little bit of a run from nine o clock news , but will just be watching that.

Angel of Mercy down 15 MR points for last 2 runs over distance too far. Back to 1400 will definitely run better than her carded 59 MR. Top 3 16/10 looks the value

A lot to like about nine o clock news there, given all the issues faced in the running, R3.6 not too bad for a place.

Been a very tricky day ---- 8th race no different.

What if Leigh Woods finds some form ? One of Leo Zodiac or Kanonkop follow up, and what's with Musical Man? Otherwise just another boring favorite Baylisiana to return?
