Riding in 6 graded races (for 6 different trainers i might add) and he's been an appi for a month or so. Yeah he's on horses with pretty much no hope but speaks volumes about how much trainers rate the lad.

SUBJECT: Final other feature race fields for Champions DayDATE: Monday 25 April 2016RELEASED BY: Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited
Trainer Sean Tarry has opted to follow the same route with Cloth Of Cloud as he did with Carry On Alice in 2014 and take on the colts in the Grade 1 SA Nursery over 1160m at Turffontein on Saturday.
The SA Nursery is one of four Grade 1 races in Champions Day, the others being the R4-million Premier’s Champions Challenge over 2000m, the R2-million SA Derby over 2450m and the R1-million World Sports Betting Computaform Sprint over 1000m.
Also run on the day are five Grade 2 races – the R1-million Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks over 2450m, the R500,000 Gold Bowl of 3200m, the R400,000 Camellia Stakes over 1160m, the R400,000 Gerald Rosenberg Stakes over 2000m and the R400,000 SA Fillies Nursery over 1160m
Cloth Of Cloud, a half-sister to Silver Mountain and Helderberg Blue, has won both her starts in style, including the Grade 3 Pretty Polly Stakes. On that occasion she completed the 1100m in 0.66sec faster than Janoobi, who won the Protea Stakes on the same day. As a filly Cloth Of Cloud gets a 2.5kg sex allowance which could give her a further advantage.
The SA Oaks contains a full field of 14 runners as well as three reserve runners and looks to be one of the most competitive races on the card. Wilgerbosdrift SA Fillies Classic winner Juxtapose is in the line-up as well as Peggy Jay, winner of the Grade 3 Jacaranda Handicap, Zafira, Princess Varunya, Persian Rug and Witchcraft make this a fascinating race.
Of course, many pundits are expected to be at Turffontein to see whether Abashiri will be able to become the third winner of the SA Triple Crown when he contests the SA Derby.

Can Inara trouble Legal Eagle? Is it really a one horse race?
Granted it is LE race to lose however I don't think it is cut and dry. I could be wrong . Any thoughts.?

Peggy Jay is a proven stayer. Has beaten older fillies which IMO is a big feather in he cap. She is a strong front runner and be hard peg back (no pun intended).
I see on WSB she is 8/1 which is some decent value IMO.

Dean, I for one don't believe it is a one horse race. There are others..........French Navy's last few runs were rather flat. Not sure if the mission is this race, but will include. I think Captain America prefers the 2000m these days and is a huge runner. Then there is my personal fancy - Brazuca. I really do rate this horse. Just 3.75l off Abashiri with 60kg on its back over 1800m and doing its best work late. Can LE afford to give Brazuca 5.5kg over the 2000m?
Then in the big one, although Abashiri is the horse to beat, Samurai Blade will be right there. I had him to win last time out and his finish last time out was spectacular. This one will give Abashiri a runs for its money. If SB wins, you can lump it on Brazuca.

I also thought it to win last. samurai blade was my choice
but I see everybody banking abashiri

Bankable Teddy may offer some place value in the Derby in light of his romp in the Derby Trial. But nothing should trouble Abashiri here.
