Why is her top weight, Flax with 60kg, ridden by a light weight claiming apprentice who is riding for the first time at Borrowdale?

Especially when over 50% of the field are in under sufferance....first time I have ever seen that in a feature race.

I have questions about the logic of running Flax in this race.
The horse had a top career in Singapore, However twice collapsed after races in distress.
if exported back to SA/Zim for breeding why take a chance and run him in this race.

Has he been found to be sterile?
is he gonna continue racing in ZIM?
