it's not always the surface hey, you don't know if these horses are running with injuries and such.

NOT SPECULATING ANYTHING HERE: (tinfoil hat engaged)
But as mentioned horse could of have a injury, Jockey could of ridden horse to hard, Sadly because of all the money involved in the gambling of Horseracing i don't think people take matters seriously, well except for the money of course. True you never know in what condition the Horse really is in. Trainer or who ever has the final say might choose to make the horse run even if its looking a bit off..

Royal Union Jet's previous start this cd was a second to Exit Here giving him 3kg. Could have needed last start when drawn a bit deep.
