she's the support supervisor and hopefully hearing the views of the punters will bring about what we want and not what they think we want ..

I thought the old bet mark card was better as it was on one page and easier to fill in instead of clicking each race and opening to fill in ..

The new site isn't as bad but there are certainl flaws...racecards are there click on fixtures click date and drop down gives the link...my gripe is the commentaries recorded never work....escalated to relevant people still nothing done...

I know that some think I am harsh in respect of the way the local racing is managed and every time I vow to be more tolerant,we get a "new and improved" cock -up.
Lets face it ,wouldn't it be nice if at least they could "get it right first time" just some of the time.
Think about how many times new websites have been launched ,only to fail and then months of patching! Bettingworld ,Tab-online and now Tab-gold ....................I think that's a full house for operators.

At least the Tabgold site is hardly ever down versus Tabonline or certain bookmakers site. To be fair the Tabgold site needs sometime before getting use to it like any other product. They have designed the site for laptops, tablets and mobile phones hence the layouts. In years to come desktops will become obsolete so they moving forward with the times. They definitely need to get the old Tabgold racecard back ASAP.

I have two tabgold links saved on speed dial on my laptop
One i used for racecards the other for card changes and results and dividends
They have fucked that up for me

It's mind-boggling how they can change something that was good, easy and simple to use and call it progress/improvement

My favourite bookie has done the same

Suddenly i don't enjoy punting anymore

Hopefully someone from tab gold is reading what punters have to say here and comment or give punters what they asking for ., it will be a first tho ..
The old site was simple , all in the home page basically ...It always takes some getting used to when it's a new concept but will taking exotics become easier the way it's set out now ..I mean we like to take bets close to race time to see changes to prices and betting moves but taking a big perm will not make it to go thru as u need to keep filling the selection and hen opening the next leg till its complete and then still have to request the bet and accept it ...

You touch on here why tote betting is so frustrating-the tote keeps justifying the late change in dividends by explaining that statisticslly so many bets are placed last minute ......with that full knowledge ,they make taking a bet slower ....you figure!
Why do operators NEVER ask their customers what it is that they like and dont like.
The new computaform is an example of letting the mentally challenged make decisions......they took away the daily course variants and yet continue to waste space by giving what have become absolutely meaningless times!
At least Tab-online reverted to the old site,as an option, until the customers were satisfied.............Gold Circle should do the same!

What will it take for operators to understand that functionality is far more important than appearance?

When a customer base is static or in decline, why alienate them by changing something that works perfectly well. Upgrades should only be done if it improves speed and efficiency/functionality, if not is a waste of time and money.
