Unfortunately im not on Pro so its making life tough so maybe you can help me out
On Tabreeks VR944 theres a horses called Bay Of Thunder and he won his maiden the same day Danza beat Crimson Magic
compare the three and see what you get please
I'm In, I'm back. With regards Formgrids, I am not on the Pro version and just access the pages that I can.
Danza, I feel he has run to stronger 3 year olds and older horses than he faces today, more importantly for me, they have managed to place him in a handicap that mirrors his rating so not only does he receive the WFA allowance, he also receives the benefit of the apprentice allowance. Bottom line, he is not conceding unnecessary weight to the older horses with a lower rating than his and he is receiving a fair pull from those above him in the ratings. He should be very competitive off 55.5kgs and rates the one to beat in my view.
Noor, the last 4 runs have been against much stronger. She appears to race handy and didn't have the best of draws in her last three races. Today from draw 4, if handily placed, she could be very difficult to beat.
That's my story, and I'm sticking to it
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

As much as I do not like Cape racing. It sure does give a dull feeling for a Saturday with one local race meeting.

Great to read some useful contribution - needless to say, a card filled with competitive handicaps, and there will be many opinions on how to play - this is my take:
R1: Easiest race on the card, 2 horse race
R2: Not the strongest fillies maiden; can't really find anything to trouble the first 4 in the betting; my preference is Russian Friend, who came really close to winning her last two, so could really be considered a winner in a maiden plate; Gusheshe a bit of a dark horse and with the allowance could spring a minor surprise if she stays
R3: Danza my clear first choice; again the allowance gives him a huge chance here; stll a competitive field, so the price a bit short imo; the ultra consistent Kangaroo Jack and Golden Man should chase Danza home, while Master Archer and Tabreek can't be totally ignored
R4: Tough start to the P6; Noor has been disappointing since her trip to the Cape and for me the 'safest' two for PA's are Finding Alice and Tahini; best outsider for me is Jukie Doolittle - not much between her and Finding Alice on their runs behind Wukkin' Up; Fly Phillippa also needed her last run badly and is 10.5 kg's better off with Noor for a 2.2 length beating; Nitrogen can improve lots in only her 4th start and can't be ignored either - those would be my choices, but for those with a big budget, the 'field' is not a bad option in the P6.
R5: One has to make a stand somewhere, and for me I am taking my chances with Seven Single - just over 6 lengths behind the Drill Hall winner at level weights from a wide draw; beat a subsequent winner (Odd Rob) last time and gets the allowance; Charanga the main danger imo from Imperial Gold who is effectively 9 points worse in here compared to his win last time.
R6: Very tough fillies handicap - lots with chances - I'll just mention 2 longshots; Cote de Pablo well in on the form behind AP Chanel, tries blinkers and could upset; also Flirting Around not a bad last run; MR has plummeted, so must be considered in a wide open race
R7: Not easy again; Thrust may be going 'over the top', but could be better over this 1000; Duke Nukem has me confused; for me his best trip would be 1200, but a fair run behind subsequent winner Fidelio, so not to be ignored; Viking Hero also in hot form and must go in with Khumalo riding - those are my top 3, but would not fall off my chair should something else pop up
R8: Seeking Venus all the rage, but for me London must be included; only 3 lengths behind multiple GR1 winner Inara last time out - had Trophy Wife and Intergalactic (ran a fair 5th in the Guineas last night) just in front of her; L has often disappointed in weaker company, but maybe the blinkers can bring out her true potential.
R9: 3 stand out here; Mr Rambo gets a tongue-tie, and must rate the one to beat if he can repeat his penultimate effort - a race that has yielded 4 'direct' winners since; The Witness was backed first time out, but disappointed, then was ignored in the betting and ran a good 3rd behind Pistolero; has the draw and could be Mr Rambo biggest threat; Relish has fair form, but Marwing will have to be wide awake to overcome the draw; I am chancing those 3 in the last leg of the P6.
Enjoy
