Was Fortune over confident in the last? or a well timed ride for the horse to chuck it?

I think a bit of both - must say loved it when that overzealous commentator had to swallow his words - got home just before the 7th and was lucky enough to catch the last double :)

Just a quick update…..at first we were gutted that Lebeoana had run such a shocker and after throwing away all the doubles i had into him i composed myself and made the call.

We were very unlucky….

Sometime during the race (we think when Patel went for him) his off fore shoe became dislodged but NEVER fell off. What it did was remain attached to the hoof on the one side and BENT over on the other. Basically he was then running with 1 high heel.

This is probably the reason he was reluctant to run.

not odd rob...............

heart breakerr...

had detonation and leboanna and teagans jet

dont need to tell u guys the payout i was lookin at......

gotta go work now.

i'd be lying if i said i wasn't quietly confident with those horses in the final leg of a pa that woulda paid 6 figures if only detonation ran top 3 let alone lebeoanna and teagans jet (who ran FOURTH!).
probably the sickest bad beat ive ever taken in racing.

good to know there was nothing untoward with leboannas run easy. but hurts still. not gonna forget this in a hurry.

sick , sick, sick game. yet i'll probably get a pa on tomorrow. probably not of the same size though.

Blunt

you were truly stiff

the only other horse i had in my pa was teagans jet as well……..

We were not afraid of anything in the race except for teagans…..

this was because prior to booking Nicholas (whom we could not get hold of) we asked Bling and we were told that he was waiting for Teagans as there was a scratching for sure…..that told us that Khumalo thought teagans was a good thing….so so close.

Easy, you would have been better off not posting and punting Lebeona again when you found a suitable opportunity.Would have been a bigger price than your likely to get now.
You know bookmakers look on here
