The gap is currently over 20 in Callan's favour as of today and with just 2 months to go it is unlikely that Lyle will finish in front of Callan (who has ridden 15 thus far this month) both top notch riders with big futures...

Both these jocks are half decent but are knowhere near the finished articles, there must be some Full blown jocks spitting feathers at why they are getting rides in Grade 1 races

Serious question.

With all the travelling that a guy like Hewitson does, how much work is he actually riding?

At the moment it seems like he's just learning on the job (not a bad thing) but how much is he getting to know horses at track or even getting a chance to iron out any adjustments on the equisizer?

As an Apprentice he rides work every morning , and if he travels 2 or even 3 time a week he will see be riding a lot of work...

the more I watch him the more I get impressed. anybody noticed his courageous ride in the july and how he beat Bling on the 3/10 yesterday at Turffontein. I think he will bag the title within the next four years.
