Why NOT INVITE the TOP 5 trainers/Jockeys on the log and get their opinions ?
Best of all Mike De Kock , he has travelled the world and probably has more knowledge than most
He was not even consulted for an opinion when deciding on Poly ??
KZN should have trainers or Track managers or administrators .
We can't go to a dentist for a heart transplant !!
ULTIMATELY THE PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED

All the jocks kept off the rail in the 10th ......................must be due to the very acceptable state of the track........lol
Imagine if it was yielding!
The suggestion that maybe I (or other ordinary punters) should walk the course to satisfy themselves is crazy ..............who cares what we think ..................the jocks have to ride on it so I'll take their word for it!

8 years 11 months agodid you see the track report for today?pen 22 going good but between the 600 and 500 metre mark the going is soft...so at a most crucial stage of the race the horse has to go through soft going then back to good going...I must walk the track but is that the same of riding a horse and going at full speed?are the two the same ...the articles and responses of the articles on sporting post say it all ...but I must walk the track?mr marshall won two races at group 1 level and placed in another so its not the words of a BAD LOSER complaining about the state of grass tracks in natal..as for tt presenters been instructed to not discuss the tracks in interviews with jockeys this is a fcuking disgrace and reminds me of apartheid days .......................its time that mr nairac was brought into the limelight and he answer these issues as he is the main man in charge but he gets mr Hawkins who isn't even on the gold circle board to face the music..mr nairac front uprob faux wrote: All the jocks kept off the rail in the 10th ......................must be due to the very acceptable state of the track........lol

Pirates are you coming or scared you might see something you Dont want to see and stuffs up your rants about GC? The area that is in question was shown to us and the results of the water test came through and it has chlorine in so is a leak in the municipal water supply which is draining into that part of the track. The municipality is trying to find it but hadn't by end of work Friday I gather. Anyway I will have more info when get back on Tuesday as in CT at sale so turning phone of now. I will keep you updated. See you Wednesday Pirates?

Two objections on one day...both upheld.
Not even 18 horse field..
How are 18 horses going to run in the countries premier race on a narrow Greyville track ....and the jocks are keeping away from the inside rail???????
Better move the July to the Vaal classic track which I hate so far so if my horse finishes first I won't be waiting for the hooter to sound

Pirates, I Dont know you to be anything but rude and insulting when it comes to anything where GC is involved( you did once say that GC curry was good) :silly: No one is saying that the grass is perfect but it is better than it is made out to be. What annoys me is that posters who complain about the track and anyone who wants to see for themselves have had an open invitation to come and so dont have to rely on someone else to make up their minds for them, have all not bothered to come and accept the invitation. I have driven from Hillcrest to go and see for myself and will do it again to take anyone around. See for yourself on the ground and then make up your mind.
