Still fairly treated and can go well under his ideal conditions from a good draw. The non-runner means that UK bookmakers will now only be paying three places, but SA bookmakers should still be paying four. 12/1 is an excellent E/W price - especially if you can get on with a bookmaker paying four places.[/quote
Top stuff! Absolutely amazing.

I have played about with the following runners in various multiples
Salisbury
Ehtiraas and Blenheim Warrior
Lingfield
Alyday
Fontwell
Ritual of Sences
Southwell
Dexcite
Take to heart
And also Lucky Jim as a single bet as I had a greyhound with the same name
Good punting and if all beat will be checking for a post from Steck

Hello
THREE of Lingfield's four turf races on Tuesday night were abandoned because of patches of false ground.
The track was hit by 9.2mm of rain in the afternoon, which changed the going to good to soft, good in places (from good).
The first race on turf - won by Cotinga - was run, but conditions were assessed after that and the three subsequent races due to be staged on grass were called off.
A note from the stewards at Lingfield read: "The stewards held an inquiry following an inspection which was held as a result of a report from the clerk of the course that there were false and inconsistent patches of soft ground across the track around five and a half furlongs out.
"They interviewed the jockeys, Jim Crowley, Harry Bentley and Kieren Fox, the trainers, Robert Eddery, John Ryan and Christine Dunnett, the clerk of the course, a member of the racecourse executive and the veterinary officer. Having considered their evidence the stewards ordered races two, three and four to be abandoned."
Three all-weather contests are scheduled for the fixture and they will go ahead as planned at 7.50, 8.20 and 8.50.

R2 Fairyhouse Pillar E/W. Ran very well here last time when third to Blairmayne (today's favourite) over seven furlongs despite having the worst of the draw and being stuck out wide all the way. Has a much better draw than Blairmayne today and is better off at the weights. The drop to six furlongs should suit based on his latest effort and, if held up for a late run, he can make the first four at least in a weak handicap. 14/1 (William Hill, BetVictor and Skybet) is too big and won't last.

12s isn't a bad price, Dave. Can't see the horse going off any bigger than that and he'll probably go off shorter.
