This is a perception....not a fact. Overall the depth and quality of the sprinters is not much different to any year. I agree that I perceive TTts MR to be above his ability but I thought the same of Captain of all last year

This is another one of those issues that can be very subjective, and the most informed opinion is obviously Strydoms -I'll go with his assessment that he is not quite another JJ.

I understand it is perception and I guess there is no way to compare generations without having some sort of a multi generational race figure but we don't....however, if I take pierre's comments into consideration about the quality of tths and jj.......well....

Handicappers don't take this into account obviously and we know jocks are generally bad judges but I have my feelings about his ability compared to his rating and I feel he is rated too high.

I still would love to have this problem though

Different era, heard the same about Frankel from Brigadier Gerrard fans etc

Yussus, this is a good horse. I have him rated even higher at 123. JJ, move over..

1200m in 67.4sec carrying 60kilos is a top achievement, no even JJ achieved that....
