Craig's Buster looked very well going down.
Irish pride looked well but he was a little strong going down. There seems to be a ton of pace in this race so.......
For me you need to sit just off them and come with a run on the outside......BB

8 years 11 months agoVery hard S African racing I bet around the USA on our own English racing but S AFRICAN racing is the hardest & the one you lose the most money on. Well I lose most money on. Any opinions on this guy's ? I would be greatful for any replies. Thank you. 8 years 11 months agoIW67, you echo my sentiments. SA racing is the hardest to make money. Several reasons which include poor conditions of the course, favorites getting rolled over with relative ease, horses pulled out of races without trying, etc. etc. Stick to UK racing - apart from Racing Post, Timeform and Spotlight, we have our own STECK, DTF, DAVE SCOTT amongst others who regularly give us winners.ianwat67 wrote:Very hard S African racing I bet around the USA on our own English racing but S AFRICAN racing is the hardest & the one you lose the most money on. Ian, I bet mainly on South African racing and I follow UK racing closely as well. I find SA racing a tad easier because there's fewer horses to follow and I know them better whereas in the UK I only bet on the really good horses. I find them equally challenging and rewarding, if you follow racing closely you're bound to get winners and there's disappointments of course but that's part of gambling.
like yesterday I had a big bet on the Gurkha at Ascot and he didn't win. This happens and you just look for the next bet.

Ian,like in all countries we have a race card so we can look at form. When there is a raced runner all we need to know from the trainer if the horse is fit and well. But when there is a unraced runner we need honest opinions from the trainer as the average punter will not know anything about the horse. Two trainers come to mind,Graig Eudey and Louis goosen say it like it is and are a huge help to the punters.Adam Azzie said the other day about his first timer that he didn't know where the money came from as it wasn't stable money yet at one stage it was tote fav against a 14-10 shot so i don't think it's the mystery Aussie punter,a good few people must have got on except the stable which i don't believe at all.Today Hewitson says Dunhallin is working very well at home yet it was being niggled at just to keep up with the pace and run out the money.

Rain in Africa should be out of the maidens by the time the 7th race is over. Throw into multiples.
