Ahlaam's last run was over a bit far when setting the pace for stable companion. Before that had a lengthy spell of bad draws in stronger fields than today and gets the opportunity to improve into the money from a 1 draw over a suitable cd and off a reduced MR. Previous start this cd was second to St Tropez.

Running 2nd to the 2016 July winner def makes him a runner...

She hasn't produced for a while but does have a bit in her favour today and i thought a place bet at a nice price.

I like Jayaash in the 3rd - made up 8 lengths in the last 400 in his penultimate, blinkers removed - nice price imo

Interesting jockey bookings on high drama and hyaku, thought bling rode for Tarry all the time if the horse was half decent?

I think their respective runs to Netflix may have influenced Khumalo's decision, coupled with the fact that High Drama looks more likely to see out the 1800m than Hyaku, just my opinion.
