Cape Speed in the next. Progressive and with the Delpech/Kannemeyer combo you always have a chance.

Deputy Jud hasn't done much at Greyville but the extra distance today(ran second to Legal Eagle over similar) and change in course could help.

be careful rob you might also be attacked by the former tote teller :P

The Oaks was run at Scotsville before. Among the winners were

Enchanted Garden
Danseuse Classique
Sweet Secret
Respectable
Gleaming Sky
Carolera
Steamy Window

Top 3yr old fillies, and on a course that was good enough in those days to hold the Jockeys International and FULL sprint fields for races like the Gilbeys and the Smirnoff etc.
That's the drawback with Google, Naresh...........it doesn't tell the full story!

True Google doesn't tell the whole story but this is what I know or recalled or read,

Enchanted Garden - 2nd in a July. Bob posted about it today. The tavern on the park I think was named Enchanted Garden or some other venue in Clairwood.
Danseuse Classique - Harry Hotspur bred who went a distance.
Sweet Secret - Grey horse that was ridden by Conrad Wilkinson. Conrad fell due to Kireon Fallon ride later on his career.
Respectable - 3rd in a July with Lloyd up in 1990. Won the Gold Vase twice.
Gleaming Sky - Gordon horse ridden by Alec Forbes. Ran third in the Sharp Electronics behind Gold Tax and Global News who were omitted from the July weeks earlier.
Carolera - Argentinan bred
Steamy Window - Sportingpost had an article on the owners last week the Fosters. Trained by Michael Airey.

Was going to mention Faralmond but that got beat :)

Google is good though, but a little knowledge helps!!!!

These horse's raced when I was in my teen years bar Enchanted Garden. The pic of my profile is Ribot raced about 15 years before I was born, Songbird won in a canter in America yesterday, The Stephan Foster handicap was yesterday a Grade 1 event. Don't know if it was a handicap in a true sense but Grade 1 handicaps was mentioned in the July posts. I'm a racing enthusiast, love racing don't have to have a bet to watch a race, I'm a dying breed.
