Good morning on this nice fresh morning. We back to Scottsville today and I hope we can carry on from where we left off over the weekend. Our last 2 runners have been winners and it would be great to carry on! We started off well and there have been 2 scratchings in the 4th so Last Summer has got a run. She beat Gallic Fire (who won on Sunday) last time out and is working well so is not without a chance. Draw not great but a must in everything. In the 7th we have Discourse who is finally has a draw that suits and his MR is where it should be. Better over this distance so is a must in everything. Have a great days racing and enjoy the July gallops tomorrow morning.
I fancy Discource to place here - all wins up to 2000m so the distance should suit and carries 48kg from 1 draw.

What a terrible ride by jockey of royalsecuritypower.
Stopped riding 150 meters before the finish and then after a few seconds realised that that was not the winning post.
Cost himself third place and me my place yankee

I hear lots of chirps and banter on course today
Trainers wondering why if the track is so KAK why Marshall had runners in non features
Sure he said in an interview he only ran them because of the big pots last time ?

That is so typical of operators(and their sycophants) logic
Marshall trains RACE horses - NEWS FLASH:horse racing is a monopoly so the only alternative to racing on unsuitable racecourses is not racing at all ........so running horses is no affirmation that "all is well"
(When you say "trainers wondering why....." -No doubt you mean 3 particular trainers!)

Does anyone know if a stipes enquiry was held into the riding of certain horses after the last at Scottsville on Wednesday?
Some terrible rides and lots of bumping and interference around the 400m. Surely action needs to be taken as there could have been one or two down in that race.
