thanks to the 12 who have said that they would play. Still to few though as we need at least 20 players. Give it to the end of the month and see where we are.

Not looking good for a comp boys but just a taster if we do end up with 20 or so.

New point scoring

Keepers will now start with 2 points instead of one. Each goal conceded -1 point so if he only lets in the one then at least you have a point. Clean sheet 5 points, saving a penalty even if the penalty hits the woodwork or goes wide 5 points

Defenders will also start with two points. Clean sheet 5 points. New rule if they give away a penalty -2 plus minus for the yellow or red which follows. BUT if defender scores a goal he will score 6 points instead of the 5. Assist will remain at 2 points

Transfers

Once your 14 and manager are in you can change as many in August. From 1st September you can make ONE TRANSFER PER WEEK. Thats a bonus as it will keep us interested right throughout the season. More to follow at a later date

I think that we make the entry fee 250 this season. Agreed? If not please say so. Thinking that we can take 250 and put it in a bonus prize. Predict the winner of the PL and the team which will finish bottom, easy hey, oh no not that simple. You also have to predict the total points the winners will have and the point tally of your bottom club. If nobody gets it correct then the person finishing in 5th gets his 250 back

A new rule is out for actual games and that is that the refs are going to clamp down hard on players who swear at them and the assistant officials and also players who suroound them when a call goes against them. So my early advice is to not select the likes of Rooney or the entire Chelsea squad in your FL team as you will lose points with the yellows and reds that are going to be flying about this coming season.

I will start formulating the comp over the next few days over on the sports thread but as i posted before its no good having a comp with less than 20 players.
