Thornbird race 2 could have the race set up for her , i like the high draw this trip and she has her stablemate Pippete to pull her through

I agree Karma. They are both there to be fired at by big fields. Value elsewhere.

Interesting Bob.....its only about 3 in 10 meetings that the outside is better down the straight, according to my stats so I ruled them out (just on percentages) for the same reason you like them .......it's what makes racing fascinating!

Thought the exact same thing Rob.The inside draws always do better in races with such big fields. Some nice valued horses drawn well, like a certain relocatee with what looks to Be a promising appy onboard! With this strong tailwind and that light weight...mmm

Where's Engles,he's normally on the ball at Fairview.
One I keep going back to is SHAMAL,race 4.
She hasnt the best of draws, but may not matter to much as she comes off the pace.
Very consistent and has dropped to a favourable mark, can't hurt to much to play ew at 20/1.

The usual
R1 Like Laing's Southern Sunset and think Strategic Approach will be in the vicinity
R2 A multitude with chances. At the prices I think Peonie Rock is some e/w value. Not too much wrong with Ken maiden form (0.4l off Pixelate who later beat Jets-a-blazing by over 3l, but perhaps more to consider than just bare winning margin data), slow away lto on PE debut, which hopefully won't be repeated, had a wall to get through and in trying to do so met all kinds of trouble. Difficult to be sure with the camera angles but I think he would have finished ahead of 3rd fav here Favour's Pride with a clear run even allowing for the poor start. The other at a price I think must have a pretty decent chance is La Manga (same one as you I presume H). ignoring the last effort, put in some fairly useful efforts in Gauteng and the appie gives her a nice weight here. Have included Thornbird in a Bremner patent as expect this one also to be thereabouts.
R3 At the prices I've chanced a little e/w on Rock Jo Emma. Ignoring the poly run lto, she was not so far off a few of these who are priced much shorter in her penultimate outing, PE debut, that despite losing her impetus approaching the final stages, not sure why that happened as not clear from the replays. Nurse Harriet should be right there.
R4 Another with a multitude of chances. I've gone slightly idiotic even for an idiot and gone with one drawn in East London
But, at the prices, I've chanced Shamal. Though a pretty consistent poly performer, maybe prefers the turf and has some decent form. Mackenzie e/w double with La Manga. I also think Disney Queen will be thereabouts and worth a small e/w at the prices. Again ignoring lto on poly, not a bad effort on PE debut off a break in her penultimate outing and some fair CT form. Flightofthefalcon will get loose change e/w. Of the shorter prices... Lexicon would be my pick but they all have fair claims.
R5 This is my one for the day I like a lot and therefore is likely to disappoint. Grandissimo. I think he will win with a little and a bit more in hand. Others have chances of course, perhaps the stablemate Acapulco and Smith's Frederick Fox could go closest. A few rand e/w on Temple Rock.
R6 Thayer if all well, Harry Lime otherwise.
R7 Snaith 1,2,3 in 2-3-1 order
R8 Scent respected but short. Dreamforest has claims but I'm siding e/w with Facebook.
Be(s)t of luck to all
