2hrs to study 11 races... this is why punters like me get so p1ssed off with "authorities". Treat us as solely worthless pains in the butt and we don't like it and it doesn't create a good "atmosphere" in all other related things. Be helpful, think about punter wants/needs and communicate and the whole racing world will be a brighter place
Is there any serious horse racing nation who treats punters with such disdain?
What`s the PEN at the UK meetings today?
what do I care about that?

quick look at the sporting life tells me Goodwood is "Good to Firm, Good in places".

Is there any mathematical equations/solutions that one can use to determine what the place fixed odds should be compared to its win fixed price? Asking as 3/1 on offer for a place on a 25/1 shot seems very skinny. I am aware that 4 places are on offer and the field has been cut to 11 runners which has alot to do with it, but would like to know if there is some sort of formula? Thanks in advance.

R1 EXCLUSIVELY TRENDY. Went big on this one last run. Put this one in my black book after it's first run. I must have seen something there. Giving it another chance

Quite a tough card. Patent Black Market x Air Chief Marshall x Kapitan ...small bet, maximum double Black Market (pl) x Air Chief Marshal (pl) .... a paltry 18/10 but both 4 places.

Another example is that it was clear that, down the straight, when the inside rail was shifted in to eliminate the fast lane, the draw bias was also eliminated-Hawkins made special mention of this which confirms its deliberate intent,so why give us the false rail info for the turn without the even more vital info for the straight ......perhaps it just doesn't occur to them?(They don't do it for every meeting!)
