Craven looked like a champion going down. Let's see if he is.

Word from the stable was this could run on debut and I liked the late headway he made. Obviously will love the extra furlong. Very similar profile to the recent Crawford winner Lady of the House - she ran 5th on debut, put her round the turn and even with a wide draw she won, so I'm hoping this one does the same. Stable in great form and perhaps the biggest danger will come from Craven. Crawford has some really nice horses to follow and I'm hoping Orffer can bring this one home, 28/10 a nice price to take I'd say.
Really nice card too. Lots of good sorts on show.
if you told me The Great One would drift to 8/1 I'd have laughed silly

noticed Cheyne didn't give Craven a hard race. looks a big baby, will win next time out but will most likely be 1/3

Swap the jocks around and Craven wins. Why back your stable companion from 6-1 into even money and put Cheyne up and keep your stable jock on the horse that drifted from 28-10 to 7-1.I don't really understand Crawfords thinking there.Maybe he tried to get a better price on Craven but came unstuck with his stable jockey beating it.Tried to be too clever and got caught out.

exactly coudnt the jock wait to look pretty once he was sure he had the race in the bag

The best horse doesn't always win the race.

Anything else run 7 l off bela bela ? In that race it beat Laila and shatoosh by 0.25l. Hardly worth getting excited about .
