Since corporatisation ,operators want to charge for everything ...replays ,field and result downloads etc etc!
When racing was in the hands of clubs they provided all info to whoever wanted to use it as the they realised that it all led to betting turnover,directly or indirectly.
The clubs were run by stewards who were top businessmen ,not like the clowns who work for operators today!
