Lifted from the post

ALAN GREEFF:
Race 1 – HIDDEN GEM (10): Is a nice filly but badly drawn on the poly – therefore going around the bend on debut – I am just hoping for a nice run.

DORRIE SHAM:
Race 1 – REBECCA ROLFE (11): It will be hard for her first time on the poly and she will need further. She gets a good draw today therefore decided to run her but she will need the experience.

R1 Think this might be too sharp for Ring O Var, Shining Through poorly drawn, Gracie may possible but not drawn well again and will need to have come on a fair bit imo. Of the Fairview experience horses I prefer Sketches Of Spain but I'll chance Honest Ally here, although run over further of late and this could prove too sharp for her also, she ran some fair races showing speed over 1200 in CT and that may be good enough in this field. The two Strydom horses nag me a little so I'll have a rand e/w on Oracle Princess.

R2 Assuming fit and well, Nilgiri Hills the one to beat imo.

R3 If breaking on terms, Just Coral should win but having fluffed the start in her last two there are no guarantees and I'd rather play safe and go with Aspen Fire. Having improved lto, Sweet Molly Malone shouldn't be discounted if the blinkers help and Class Queen should be in the vicinity.

R4 Difficult. With the 1 box I've sided with Naval Intelligence. Apoc has been running well of late and could be the main danger but plenty of others have claims. Zama is possible, noted that Cheyne now climbs aboard Oh Boy on third run after a break and in PE, Henry Of York and Flying Fool have chances but drawn badly, Imperial Velvet if not winning should be right there as always, lto aside. Doesn't end there, few would surprise but NI for me.

R5 Another where a few have a chance but I think it might come down to a fight between Themla, assuming she breaks better than lto, and Oyster Nut. By the smallest of margins I favour the latter.

R6 Continues the "open" theme. On third run after a break, I think Dance In The Woods will be competitive and is my e/w shout. The Wild Mistress the main danger imo. Oklahoma Sky might take third.

R7 Not sure how strong Sunset Storm's form is. Chance but I feel much more confident of a good run from Whistling Wonder who will be the selection. Vanda could mount a challenge with Supa-U thereabouts,

R8 Pont Du Gard and Quera likely to be right there but I'll chance Megamind, yet to go over the minimum but another who showed speed in some fair efforts over 1200 in CT.

Be(s)t of luck to all
