Tellytrack, horseracing exclusive’s TV channel on DStv, will broadcast live from Betting World outlets in Cape Town this week ahead of Saturday’s Sun Met race meeting at Kenilworth in the Mother City.
Tellytrack will broadcast live from the Betting World outlet at Kenilworth this Tuesday and then from the Betting World store at The Gallery shopping complex in Milnerton on Thursday and from Betting World in Sea Point on Friday.
The live transmissions will be accompanied by special in-store promotions in the relevant outlets. These promotions will include losing-ticket competitions with loads of prizes and giveaways, ranging from betting vouchers and free bets on the Sun Met and Betting World Cape Flying Championship to pens, caps and admission tickets to Kenilworth on the big day.
The live transmissions and in-store promotions are all aimed to drive interest in the Sun Met race meeting, which is now the richest raceday in Africa.
The R1-million Betting World Cape Flying Championship is one of the four Grade 1 races on Saturday’s card, which features two $500,000 Cape Thoroughbred Sales events and is headlined, of course, by the R5-million Sun Met.
