Played the patent :-
R4) Captain Splendid X (R7) Table Bay X (R9) Don't Stop Dancing
Captain Splendid, racing fit, he stays he wins this.
Table Bay runs to his rating, no race.
Don't Stop Dancing, down in class, reasonably drawn, third run after the rest, expect a peak run.

I remember when Act of War was considered a good thing and MDK bought down Ertijaal and the rest is history. I just have a feeling we could see the same tomorrow, Al Fahad is no slouch and will make a race of it imo.

Lanzerac - Always in Charge 2/1, The Great One 15/1
Always In Charge owes me nothing. Top, top horse. I think he's been crying out for the 1400 now looking at his last race. He's top class - great draw luckily and he's got a good chance as any here. 2nd run after rest but with 2.5 million on the line - there's no way he won't be close to his peak here. Most likely been aimed at this race from a while back. But IMO, this is the strongest Lanzerac race yet. there's some quality horses here and it's not cut and dry for him - that's why I thought the 12/10 WSB is offering is far too short. 2/1 much better.
The Great One is one of them. This horse is improving all the time. Look at those draws at Durbanville. tough, tough draws and he did it twice. Finally draws well. He'll be up there handy tomorrow and with the short straight, he can easily keep on rolling. Crawford/Orffer deadly combination atm. Another horse I really rate is Newlands. Watch him for the future. Actually he can win too tomorrow with a bit of luck. seems a derby horse though.
Race 3 - Arabian Dynasty 11/10 - Lovely debut, Crawford thinks he'll be tough to beat shortening all the while - should go close.
Selangor - Table Bay should win if confirming his exceptional last win but I'm not backing him at that price when he's got the Guineas on his radar. Don't discount Al Fahad...

Without wanting to sound like a party pooper, R3, try and include Red Epitome (25/1 into 16/1), stable companion to the favourite Arabian Dynasty (18/10 into 12/10), into your play.
Last time out, they raced this horse handy over 2000m and he appears to have stopped. This time round, brought back in distance (1600m) and they slap on a pair of blinkers - at think point, me thinks, Mmmmm, with one eye slightly closed (nogal), you could be onto something here sunshine.
Seriously, he does have the stable jockey up, I would take note if there is any follow through on course, could be worth an each way go.

Not saying you don't have a point Bayern but only reason Orffer's up is because he doesn't ride for the owner of Arabian Dynasty, Mr Yue. Similarly a horse like Craven, also owned by Yue, Orffer has never riden it.

GLEN PULLER
Race 1 – DREAMING BIG (6): A nice horse that has taken time but I am expecting a competitive run.
MIKE STEWART
Race 1 – FUJIN (9): A nice horse but he will need the run as he has just been gelded.
MIKE ROBINSON
Race 1 – KAPTEINSPANDISEILE (11): Is bred to go further and will need the run and the experience.
DAN KATZ FOR DARRYL HODGSON
Race 1 – MARK’S GLORY (12): He is a very nice horse but did need gelding and has been gelded. He will need the run but as I say he is a nice horse.
PIET STEYN
Race 1 – WAITINGFORTONIGHT (14): Trainer could not be contacted for comment.
ERIC SANDS
Race 1 – WILDLIFE SAFARI (15): A nice horse but could be very green – we have had no gallops!
RIAAN VAN REENEN AND CARL BURGER PARTNERSHIP
Race 3 – BLIND SPOT (9): Green and should need the run.
BRETT CRAWFORD

Race1: Mount Keith has had his chances but is consistent and will be right there. Figaro ran well on debut in Durban, and with natural improvement could win this. Zeb had two fair runs at Durbanville, and is the one to beat on this track. Whitelightwarrior and Trojan Quest have shown enough to run into the places. Plenty of first timers to make it tricky.
Race 2: A very competitive fillies maiden. Silver Laurel has been knocking on the door and will run a good race, but has a number of improving 3yos to contend with. Step Out was a bit disappointing when fancied last time, and could make amends but needs luck from a wide draw. Katniss has good form and is the one to beat from a good draw. All of 2,3,4,5,8,11 could pop up.
Race 3: Arabian Dynasty should win this. Crompton Court and Barak Lavan have good form. Mangrove Is good ew value at 8/1. He will appreciate the extra ground after a smart debut over 1400m
Race 4: Smart Mart is the one to beat in an open race.
Race 5: The 3yos have the scope for improvement and are selected to fight this out. Jabu is my first choice, followed by Black Cat Back, Kenny Trix and Gregorian Chant. Of the older horses, Half Moon Hotel could surprise.
Race 6: Always in Charge is a worthy favourite and is a confident selection. His full siblings have won beyond 1400m so the trip should be no problem. Zodiak Ruler is the main danger. Safe Harbour is a nice roughie to place.
Race 7: Table Bay was very impressive last time and should win this. Al Fahad is the only realistic danger.
Race 8: Quick Brown Fox was impressive on debut and should win again. It's very open beyond her. Sun at Midnight has been disappointing lately, but is capable at these weights.
Race 9: A difficult race to end the day. Seattle Gold is my first choice.
