I was thinking yesterday that always on these days they have SHIT horses running!!!! These guys come from overseas to ride in MR 60's and 70's????!!! Doesn't matter what star jocks they are...if there was a better caliber of horses running, more people would've been on course.

The timing/date is a factor as well. Payday is still a week away and the last day of the month even further away for others....

Jock challenge today
Van niekerk 15/2 to top scorer today overall worth a decent bet
Van niekerk to be top sa rider today 36/10 worth a big bet
Internationals to win today 19/20 worth a big bet
Cosgrave to be top jock 14/1 small sidebet
Havlin to be top jock 16/1 small sidebet
Sweeney to be top jock 18/1 small side bet
Lets see how it goes !!!!

Never attracts a serious crowd... The added variable of jocks who may not know the courses and horses is a factor that I consider ..... Sunday the course is always empty anyway

8 years 6 months agoin previous years when they held this event in durban they got very good crowds mainly due to the gambling crazy durbanites who support natal racing but for the last 3 years gold circle have seen fit due to finances not to host this event which for me is a kick in the pants for natal punters ..poor poor showOver the Air wrote: It dont look as if the Internationals have any drawing power, the course looks dead

100% it would have been well supported if held on Friday Night instead of PE Day... how many people will take off work on a Friday afternoon to go Racing?(Answered by the low attendance I saw on tv)
