Double Varonella (Race 1) who looks cd suited and Star Burst Galaxy (Race
who might prefer the drop in trip.

I am far from "trained up" in studying of late, I can't remember the last time I had a proper look at a race so bare that in mind...
I quite like Helen's Bay e/w at the prices in the 4th. Of course there are no trainer comments for that race but imo Oli Miranda must have a chance, but she is oft slowly away and that may take away the advantage of having the 3 box. With Silken Summer, Wicked Lady, Ring O Var all drawn pretty wide, it does open the door for the two Greeff horses. Hidden Gem is Cheyne's "choice" and has the 1 box but doesn't convince me. Helen's Bay is drawn much less advantageously in 7 but does bring some fair CT efforts with her including finishing 0.5l ahead of OM in her penultimate start when better drawn of the two over 1200 at Durbanville. Returns from a break and can't be over-confident but chancing.
R9 Brooke's Montana was drawn very wide on the turf in her come back run lto. Although recent form looks uninspiring on face value, if she were to return to form she must have a chance from the 6 box. A return to this kind of grade, distance and surface might help. Lerena is booked and that alone makes 33s seem like a worthwhile e/w nibble bet.
