On another note, Loopy Logic's 584 subscribers had a field day in Greyville. Was five for five after five races. There is only one winner there, you do the math....
Do I detect some sarcasm here Naresh? Just asking....

The payouts must have been miniscule then?

Robert is one of the best tipsters in the country. His analysis is second to none. I had a top trainer in CT with plenty runners tip to me yesterday and no winners in about 8 races he tipped on. No train smash. It happens. Luckily for me Hollywood was down so didn't lose anything. I will be there again to listen or read Roberts analysis anytime.

i stick by what i said
a)we need people of color and in this day and age you get asked why and Vee gets on the bw panel because he works at Phumelela and Dees presents in Kzn
b)i like the guy because he is articulate and says it as it is and puts up a convincing argument but i only know him from when he participates on these panels Probably seen about four and i clearly remember he didnt come away with flying colours in those.

At the beginning of the discussion he gave a big thumbs up to betting world and lm – mentioning that other bookies limit or close your account after a few bets.
This is bullshit.
bw’s prices are a joke, and if you take a bet on sports with them you must have rocks in your head e.g 8/10 the pair on rugby handicaps. How they stay in business is a mystery.
The only bookie that will limit you quicker than lm is wsb.

I am not following your logic. Where do we need people of colour? As presenters? As tipsters? As trainers? As owners?

We only get anyone different on the big days and i only saw one non white years ago as a guest by virtue of being a winner of a comp run by Phum i think and his tipping was phenomenal

Fafi I get where you coming from. I dont agree with you 100%. What the operators should be doing is catering for the R10 punters who frequent their totes. Now I dont know if you have ever shopped at Pick n Pay, but they have a radio broadcast that goes out to each and every shop. I think the operators could do something similar at their totes to encourage turnover. Get people like James Mphiri to be the "tipster/DJ and without being controversial, let a Smiley Moosa call the races off a monitor in the studio. This can run separately to Tellytracks offerings and need not upset the "establishment"
By doing this, the message would be very clear imvho and far less elitist
