SUBJECT: Kimberley meeting postponed
DATE: 30 January 2017

Phumelela has launched an investigation as to why there were transportation issues with today's Flamingo Park race meeting, which had to be postponed to Sunday 5 February.

The fields will remain as originally carded, although starting times of races may be altered to fit in with Sunday’s racing schedule.

“It’s highly unfortunate, but the race meeting will not be lost. Consequently we have postponed the card as is to Sunday,” said Jay Harrielall, General Manager: Racing at Phumelela.

Consequently Flamingo Park will race twice in two days with another meeting at the track scheduled for Monday 6 February.

bizarre. lets assume no jocks live in kimberley. they need to cart somewhere between 14 and 20 jocks to the northern cape.
assuming the few administrators that go with can go in their S CLASS! why not just rent two normal mini busses.
the long distance operators they use on SUMMER CUP day to ferrie people around the parking at turfies could take them thru. not expensive.
i am gonna guess that all the P people were still Cape for MET freebies. last thing they worry about is the Small guys in Kimberley.
