yes that is plenty of money.like winning the summer cup and the july in one race.not bad for a jock having an "off" day

I thought prize money for winning was 250K USD - so if he gets 10% = 25K USD ? Not too shabby

And the 20k from the Cape flying championship to cover bank charges... not to shabby at all :woohoo:

Totally disagree...Van Niekerk one of the most talented and BMT jockeys in the country. Unfortunately his dislike of travelling means he is unlikely to challenge for titles. Doubt Candice would find much better....

Now that the dust has settled on the Cape season, it will be cheese and bread issues for many stables in the Cape. These boys will be back with a bang and I wonder what form some fundis will be using then to describe their winning rides.

Veale will be back to his winning ways in KZN very soon.

Veale "This ones for my wife and family watching at home" is a good jockey but not in the league of Sean Cormack.

Did de Kock choose Murray because of his experience or success rate? There's a lot more to these appointments...

Sometimes change is needed, to freshen things up, for both parties....
