Got to love the comments on the 2 unraced horses of the Spies stable. Old man Tobie said there is nothing between their two horses and if pressed he would say maybe nr 8. Nr 6 finished about 20 lengths behind number 8, lol.

R2 Navarone took on a strong field lto and 2 previous were over further. Prior CT form over this trip reasonable and by Var has a fair chance of taking to the surface. Risk All might be worth a rand, on 3rd after a rest and last wo over further. NSO last time over 1200 but won maiden very easily in one before that over the same trip.

R3 At the prices Excalivar might be worth chancing a small e/w in the hope that form is recaptured. With the blinkers back off, at a big price Buenos Aires might improve down in trip.

R4 ignoring lto when NSO, prior form of Olimpic Airways makes him look reasonable e/w value here. Oberoy might run a place at bigger odds.

R5 Ahead of Traffic from Kingofmountain perhaps...?

R6 Lady Duchess might be upset by stablemate Scarlet Rivera if the latter does not suffer 2nd after a rest syndrome. Potentially big value for me is Moonlite Mist, a repeat of her penultimate effort would give her a decent e/w shout imo. There are a few others who might "improve"... Manatatise Girl was NSO lto but won her maiden well on debut here in her penultimate, Diamond Tiara and Megan Jones might prefer this trip.

R7 Tight. Yours and Mone might hold off Go Fly a Kite but the value horse imo is Emblem Honour who on form should be in the vicinity and a double figure price makes some e/w appeal

R8 Secret Lover is 2/2 at Bingo and might be worth chancing to go in again. Western Force makes some e/w appeal

R9 Tayaar worth risking again? Possibly not but really not sure where else to go

R10 Beach Bird might get it right today. Meet Me At Manos w/o the blinkers worth risking a couple of rand at a big price

Definitely hoping much more than expecting
