Race 1: (4) Green Emperor - speedy and advanced.
Race 2: (6) Chenille - hot filly. Difficult to asses.
Race 2: (11) Rainbowwinthesky - tricky draw. Ability to go very close.
Race 2: (14) Sita - nice sort.
Race 2: (4) Up In Smoke - expecting a better run.
Race 5: (8) Roman Emperor - improving quickly. Could need further.
Race 7: (10) Mambo - tougher race. Will enjoy the trip.
Race 8: (11) High Altar - nice sort. Will need further.
Race 8: (8) Likely Story - has improved a lot.
Race 8: (1) Modesty - on the up. Will take some beating.

Apologies, you are correct.

Betting is such an interesting "topic", maybe we must have a separate thread as there are many on here can share much more insight.

I hope i get the name right, the poster, Dr Fager, who hasn't posted in a while, is someone i felt understood betting markets very well. From his posts (for me) he gave the impression that he punted by checking the various markets, not from form studying.

Maybe there are some who are currently involved in the bookmaker industry, or were, can explain how pricing up on a race starts - back in the days of BODS, and now how each company goes about it.

Just a thought, not a must thread.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 1: Some well performed dams represented here- Epic Sword out of Silver Moon; He's a Keeper out of Treasure Teft, Nice Chap out of Chantal, Sniper Shot out of Seven Veils, and best of all, Varallo out of Covenant.
Race 2: Ditto- Dream de RA out of Val De RA, Osprey out of Seeking the Wind, Sitia out of Dragonada
Race 3: Midnight Man is all the rage, but if Notacademicatall can overcome his habit of being slow away, he could surprise.
Race 4:,Roys Winter Patch is well in on his best form - the stable has good backup with Hold the Line. The 3 year olds are not well treated at the weights.
Race 5 Roman Emperor looks very progressive and is my pick here.
Race 8: A three way contest Modesty, Raes Dyna Jet , Baobab.

interesting a lot of support for the experienced runner in Race 2 (11) Rainbow Inthesky from the duncan howells stable , drawn outside barrier but mkt support will overcome

if you look at it last run before the break it was second to VISION TO KILL and its gone on to win again ..unless the newcomers are very good .Rainbowinthesky should lead us to pot of gold B)

Race 1 - No surprise if the well bred Varallo won from draw 1.
Race 4 - Roy's Winter Patch has won this cd.
Race 8 - Raes' Dyna Jet to place back on turf over what should be a suitable trip.

AP Inkaja will improve today. AP Answer passed away in the week and will surely be a good sendoff for the sire
