Bob, unfortunately no news, but I am still trying.

Just to put the record straight, RobF gave up smokes quite a while back but alas the damage had already been done......... :( .......He lives with severely damaged lungs and had various treatments to help alleviate the problem..( but with limited success)...

My dad has blisters on his lungs and now has to be on permanent oxygen. All because of smoking. He gets bad pneumonia once or twice a year and is lucky to survive each re occurrence. He also is getting "white spots" on his brain from lack of full oxygen.

Please, please stop smoking and let Rob and my dad's stories not be in vain!

I have just been sent this

Update - news is good. Robbie was conscious today, wonderful. seemed a bit out of sorts but expected. He is still on the ventilator and can't talk because of the tubes. He is off all meds for his blood pressure which is some more great news. Coming off the ventilator is going to take a bit more time because he is still very reliant on it. He tried to communicate by writing but its still too difficult to decipher. Eventually I managed to decode and he wanted to know how his Brandon was, then how long he had been in hospital and thirdly he needed the bed pan. so much progress it's wonderful. It seems right now he will still be in ICU for next week. I gave him everyone messages. Thanks so much for all your support & prayers. Today was a very good day.
