That's why I hate it when horses names are repeated after a decade or so. They should be a rule in place that any multiple winner or a horse of significant importance like a top broodmare a freeze on that name should apply. Like Mr H rightly pointed out that Midnight Run was a multiple winner and just after a decade or so another Midnight Run came along that was trained by Puller and then Bass. Every horse has a story to tell.

Went through the archives. That race is now what is called the Post Merchants and it was not the Drill Hall. The dam of Prince of War, Special Felice produced Grade One winner, Bold Thatch. I think all the foals of Special Felice won on debut. Winnetka was multiple winner at 2 years.
