Will have to be special - has to travel, has had issues, and level of competition much higher this time. I hope he does well but can't see this winning imvho

i have to agree.i can't see a kzn horse even making it into the first 4,let alone win the race.maybe im biased, but the level of horses he faced and beat in kzn is not up to the class of these horses in jhb.good luck to the horse and lets see how he goes and then we can judge how good he is.

Green Pepper the right one at the weights - but she may just need it as the stable is just coming back after a virus - if she is at her peak, she will win imo; dark horse is Aussie Austin - has breathing problems, but gets a tongue tie fitted and if this has the desired effect, he has run close enough behind Clever Guy and Raasmaal to threaten off a low weight

Abit late but...

100 years ago on 29 March 1917 Man O War was foaled/born. He won 20 of 21 races including the Preakness and Belmont. Widely considered the best dirt horse of the 20th century and rated number one in most poles.

His only defeat came at age 2 and he never run in the Kentucky Derby.
