I think I have the National winner.
Horses that win the National are laid out for the race, which means that their form is nothing special.
Often one by a small, second tier trainer stable with a journeyman jockey.
First task is to get round and don't get too far behind.
The one that keeps nagging at me is -appropriately-DROP OUT JOE,and he is 66/1

Running on Saturday in the Betway Handicap Chase, One for Arthur. 16/1 at the moment owners pretty confident of a good run

Geoff Lester's comment in the Racing Express "...fancied Scottish challenger One For Arthur is too slow and might struggle to stay in touch early on." He tips Ucello Conti,The Last Samurai and More Of That.
"Its a lottery and besides record turnover, they invariably get a "boil over" result, with the last five winners being 25-1(twice), 33-1(twice) and 66-1-and go back just eight years and we had a 100-1 winner."
