no problem ota. Lionel asked what influence MDK had in getting him DECENT mounts...to which i replied...none!!! What he got from MDK was the invitation from HK becoz of the great work he did here.Over there,doesnt matter the reputation you come with,you have to proof yourself.Callan's rides are mostly 8/1 or above...so he seldom gets DECENT rides.He is proofing himself a very capable jockey,hence he will get more decent rides.Both Gr3's he won were with Double digit horses...so they were outsiders.HK trainers and owners tends to stick with tried and tested jocks...as our previous CHAMPION JOCK found out in HK. Thats what i meant. Just for the record...For personally i think both Murray and Teetan are excellent jocks. Just my meaning and what i know of HK racing. So in actual fact,Murray has done way better than winning just 2 GR3's...breaking into the HK scenery is a feat by itself (which MDK largely played a roll in by giving him the chance to ride his superstars).

Getting rides in grade 3's even if they are not well fancied takes some doing. Callan didn't have to wait too long for it either :dry:
